We are to be tested and tried in the furnace of affliction, partly for our growth of faith, guidance by chastisement, and mostly the manifestation of the fruits of the Spirit. As we are tempered as steel, molded as clay, we are being transformed to the image of His Son and our Brother.
Father knowing that you try our hearts, let Your perfect work be done. Let us realize this age is passing and Your age of the King, our King is coming. Test me until the end that I might stand in faith, try my ways that Your spiritual fruits grow and are seen in my walk in this time. Let Your divine influence be upon my heart and reflect in my life.
